Hey all!! I’ve been missing you. Do you know how much free time you have when you have a 6 week old baby?! Not much… but he’s so worth it. That doesn’t mean I don’t miss doing things and blogging about them though. We’ve been doing some projects around the house lately but I just haven’t had the time to write about them/take pics. Maybe this week?? We shall see.
Anyways, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of WWDLW (what we did last weekend). I do these short, sweet posts when I don’t have time to write a long one but want to keep you guys in the loop!! Why I think you want to be in my crazy little loop I’m not exactly sure?! Ha!
So, little man made his first long distance trip out of town to go see my parents.
We went to their cabin on Saturday and also got to go to the Webb Family Auction. It’s held every Saturday night in Choctaw, AR. Sometimes it’s really good and we want to buy everything and other times it’s not even worth going. This time around there wasn’t much stuff but we still racked up!
J.C. bought a Stihl chainsaw and case for $60. If you aren’t aware, the case cost more than that by itself. Let’s just say it was a REALLY good deal. And me?! I bought a blue and white ginger jar ($3) and some vintage cloth napkins (less than $10 for 14 of them). I’m not 100% sure they are vintage, but they sure do look it and they don’t have any tags… which really makes me think they are the real deal. ☺
On the way home we stopped to see my brother and sis-in-law’s new house in Little Rock. It’s very charming and has lots of potential. It reminds me of our old home, which makes me happy.
I’m going to try my hardest to come back this week with new posts about our master closet and guest bathroom. I’ll cross my fingers on getting some sleep… and if not, I will do what I do best- snuggle my sweet baby boy.
I mean, can you even handle that milk running down his cheek?! I just died from all the sweetness. ❤
