Double Duty

Hey chicks!  Don’t forget to enter into the 100th Post Giveaway.  I’m giving away (2) one year subscriptions to Better Homes and Gardens.

I was looking at one of my favorite blogs the other day, The Lettered Cottage, and saw that she had featured a few rooms in Ashley Gilbreath’s most recent home.

Both ladies have mad style, so it had to be good!! I ran across this photo and thought I would fall out!!!

Look at those double doors!! I love them and our house has just the place to use the same idea.  I’ve been trying to come up with something very interesting as an entrance to our master closet that could also act as “artwork” and this fits the bills 110%!  I’ve already looked at the doors online and we plan to DIY this once we move back in. It’s one of those things that isn’t a necessity so it can be done at any time really.

You guys will have to forgive me for the short post, but like I mentioned last week, we aren’t living at home right now and have been so busy.  Well, busy might be an understatement, but that’s beside the point.

Leave me a comment below and tell me what you think of us installing double sliding louvered doors on the outside of our master closet!

  1. I love it! I’ve showed the track sliding doors to Dad a minimum of fifty times, so I think I’ve got him brainwashed into thinking about track sliding doors every 5-10 minutes and even into thinking it was his idea to build me some! I really like the louvre doors too 🙂

    • Yeah, the barn style doors are very popular and timeless if you ask me. I found a great hardware kit at Home Depot the other day. Let me know if you want the information!

  2. I love sliding doors! Especially if there is not enough room to swing open doors, and you could just slid them down! I love the idea! Just think, when you wake up in the morning… Walk to your closet and SWISH slid dem puppies open and stretch before walking in! ahhhhh…
