The Travs

Yes… I now have the right to call them “The Travs”… that’s the short name for the Arkansas Travelers, our state’s minor league baseball team.  I mentioned that I wanted to go to an Arkansas Travelers baseball game on my Summer Bucket List.  Cross it off!  Done!  Finished!  We did it!  And boy was it fun!

As I told you guys in this post, the tickets are only $12.  My brother and his wife just recently moved to Little Rock, which is where their home games are located.  We asked them to come along and they were thrilled… so were we!  I didn’t even realize that my sister-in-law loves baseball.  I learn something new every day.  I won’t give you a step-by-step of the evening, rather let the pictures do MOST of the talking…

Then this cool little guy decided to hang out with us for a while…

How cool?!  It finally got dark and then the fireworks began.

And that’s the game folks.  We went on July 4th, hence the fireworks.  It was SUCH a good time for just $12 a person.  I highly suggest that you go.  Our team lost by a few points but I didn’t even care because the weather was so nice and we had such a good time.  Now, I’m off to cross off more bucket list items.

P.S.  I’ve been working on some exciting house updates this week!  I hope to post about them by the end of the week!
